The last leg of our journey in Capitol Reef was to a place called Capitol George Road. It was at the end of the scenic drive you could take in the southern part of the park, and was really an awesome place. We loved being down in the canyons and seeing all the rocks close up. We also ran into one of our sister in law Janet’s brothers who was there with his family. What a small world!
Then after this short little drive it was time to head back home. We had talked about staying a night in Fruita (the city nearby) but when we took a family vote, most of the family preferred just going home to sleep in their own beds. So that is what we did. We sure did have a wonderful time exploring Southern Utah though and loved getting to visit and see some new places! It was a wonderful little Spring Break for our family!
This sunset was like a welcome home gift when we arrived back in the Payson area.
