After weeping rock, we were still in need of some cooling off and so we opted to take off our shoes and walk in the river for awhile. This ended up being one of our favorite activities and was fun to feel the soothing cold waters wash over our hot feet. We also ran into an Indian family who are living in England but were here in Utah on vacation. Oh and I forgot to mention that Missy and I talked with 3 men from Israel up at weeping rock when I heard them speaking in another language and got curious enough to ask them where they were from. I so do love meeting people from other cultures!
Then it was back to the shuttle bus to finish our tour of the canyon. We ended up sitting in the very back but when the kids realized we were the only people on the bus, they decided they wanted to move to the front of the bus instead. So we all packed up our things and moved. This ended up being a good thing because the next few stops picked up huge groups of people and boy howdy did it get crowded. The front at least had a little more room due to the dash board.
The views of the canyon as we drove through were breathtaking!
Love this shot of Adam comforting Harry. Harry is our tender hearted little boy that easily gets his feelings hurt, and has a hard time controlling his emotions. I love that Adam tries his best to help him deal with his strong feelings.
Cute little Henry! This is after we moved to the front!
It was a glorious day in Zions! Sure grateful for these amazing creations God has made and for the chance we got to see them with some of our besties! 🙂
