When we first told people we were heading up to Banff Canada, everyone told us how awesome Lake Louise was – so we were really excited to see it. It certainly is a beautiful lake and the glacier mountains are gorgeous! The weather was pretty cloudy unfortunately (and rained on and off) so it I don’t think the water color was as brilliant as it normally is, but it was the perfect place for us to have some lunch and enjoy some down time.
A nice tourist offered to take a family picture for us. Thank you fellow tourist!
They had some cool boats you could rent to take out on the lake but since we’d already done the paddle boats in Waterton the day before, we opted to just watch the boats. Plus the line was a mile long, and it had started raining so we thought it best not to get soaked.
We found a nice secluded spot next to the boat rental place with chairs and decided to have our picnic lunch there. We were pretty limited with our options and mostly just opened up a jar of salsa and bag of chips and went to town. Then finished it off with a piece of fruit. It did the trick filling our tummies.
