Weiners and Waffles, Townsite Playground, and Middle Waterton Lake

After spending the morning up Alkamine Canyon, we headed back into town to grab some lunch before heading out for our next adventure.  One of the boat rental employees had suggested we go to Weiners which was known for its amazing hot dogs and so we decided to try it out.  We were glad we did because I think this place wins “best hotdog ever” award for sure! They were awesome! I was wishing we’d gotten some more of them! And you can tell from the line that it was a well liked place to eat! 🙂
We also ended up getting 3 different kinds of waffles from the waffle house next door (waffles and weiners – sounds pretty good right?) and tried out their maple syrup, strawberries and cream, and biscoff toppings.  They were a hit as well!

Adalynn’s awesome picture taking skills at work below. 🙂

After lunch we walked around town a bit, and the kids were mesmorized by this OLD phone.  They had never seen anything like this before!  So funny!  I explained to them how they worked and you put in money to call someone, and they just looked at me and asked, “why don’t people just use their cell phones?” Yeah. we definitely live in a different age!

We found a fun park in the middle of town and had fun playing there for awhile.

Love how serious Harry is in this picture.  He is concentrating on the hard task ahead of him, but in actual reality this kid is amazing at monkey bars!

After our fun time at the park we headed out to see more of Waterton and ended up going to Middle Waterton Lake and then up to the “hotel” on the hill to see the view.  So glad we did that.  It was just beautiful!

We sure have been able to see some pretty amazing stuff on this trip!  Gods creations are sure cool!
