After getting settled in at our condo in Poulson, we grilled up some kilbasa with corn on the cob for dinner and then headed down the street to a little park by the bridge where we spent some time playing in the water. We had hoped to use our 2 person tube I purchased from amazon for the occasion, but we unfortunately forgot the pump back at the condo. Doh! Oh well, the kids and Adam had fun anyway jumping off the pier and playing on the playground while I hung out in the car pumping a bottle and then feeding Jamis. Later I enjoyed swinging on a huge bench swing – until I got myself motion sick! ha.
The rest of the evening we spent back at our condo enjoying the awesome view from our condo deck. We were literally RIGHT across the street from Flathead lake and had a gorgeous view of the mountains and lake. I couldn’t help but snap pictures of the lake as the evening progressed. It was also funny because the sunset seemed to last for hours. No kidding! Apparently Montana is much higher North than Utah, and so their days are a bit longer than ours. So the sky stayed bright until after 10:00! So cool!
