When I first flew out to India to meet up with Adam back in February, one of the very first restaurants he took me to was an Indian Arabian place just down the street from Adobe. I instantly fell in LOVE with this place and literally started to CRAVE its deliciousness. It was one of the first places I wanted to go when we arrived in India – and luckily Adam loves the food too and agreed! I was worried the kids wouldn’t like it, (since it is after all Indian food) but I think they liked it as much or more than me because they took it DOWN!
Adam ordered us all either mango juice or mango smoothies (which are completely AMAZING here in India) and then also got us a huge order of Arabian BBQ chicken (my favorite dish) and then 3 different gravy’s, Kierla parata (Adam’s favorite) and 2 rice dishes. It was a ton of food and we ended up getting a take away box (not a to go box) for about half of it, but man alive did we all enjoy ourselves to the max! Talk about a great way to start out our time in India! And I think it helped the kids see that they could find things here that they liked to eat. Even Dawson gobbled it all up and asked for 2nds, 3rds, and 4ths! Yum!
My favorite Arabian Indian dish of all time. BBQ Chicken. The best part is mixing the brown sauce and white sauce together when dipping the chicken. To Die For! Love this stuff!
After our feast we headed over to Adam’s work at Adobe to say hello to all his co-workers. I had to snap a picture of these flowering plants outside the building though. Although they are beautiful and lush, I certainly wouldn’t want to get in a fight with one. Check out those thorns!
A closer look at these bad boys. They look like a rose bush on steroids!
And here is a look at Adam’s office in India! Pretty sweet! Adobe is actually building a new office in Northern Bangalore though that will be completed next year, and then next week Adam’s team is moving next door because their expanding so rapidly they need more room! Fun times in India!
Getting to see all the guys (and a few girls too) was so fun! I got to know quite a few of Adam’s co-workers during my first visit to India and loved seeing all their happy smiley faces again! Adam definitely works with some great folks at Adobe and we both just feel so blessed to be having this adventure. Life sure is good to us!
