Art Museum, Aquarium, & Lunch with Naveen, Savitha, & Swaroop

During out last week in India one of the things we really wanted to do was to spend one last day with Naveen and his sweet family.  So we planned a big day of museums and aquariums and invited Naveen, Savitha, and Swaroop to come with us.
Our first stop was to the Bangalore Art museum which had lots of different kind of pottery, paintings, rock sculptures, and instruments.  The kids loved seeing all the different kinds of art, but mostly just running around chasing each other (especially Swaroop and Ady!) ha ha.

Afterwards we walked a few blocks down to the Aquarium where the kids loved seeing some all sorts of different kinds of fish.  They found some fun things to play on and with as we walked!

Group shot with Naveen and his family!  Man are we gonna miss these guys!  They became like family to us while we were in India and took such good care of us.

Then it was off to the aquarium!

It was so fun seeing so many different kinds of fish!

Afterwards we waited near the front gate for Naveen to bring the car around.  The kids loved swinging on vines and playing in the courtyard.

Our last stop of the day was to take this dear sweet family that we love so much out to lunch as a final thank you.  It was actually Savitha’s first time out to eat at a restaurant like this (that serves both veg and non veg items) and so it was a little strange for her, but she did love the food she got, so hopefully we gave her a positive experience.  We sure are grateful for this sweet family though!
Naveen truly took such good care of our family during our 3 months in India and went way over and beyond the call of duty in his services to us. We presented him with a scrapbook of pictures during our three months traveling around with him to remember us by which he absolutely loved and then I wrote him a letter with many cherished memories.  And of course we left him a big tip as well!  He truly did an outstanding job and became like part of our family!  We will miss him so much!
We truly have been so blessed to be here in India and to be loved so well by so many!  How we love this wonderful country!
