We are finally sort of getting into a schedule here in India that usually consists of going downstairs for our free Indian breakfast and then either going swimming, or to play badmitton or to work on our school work we need to finish up for the kids end of the year stuff. After that we get ready for the day and then around 10:30 or so our driver Naveen comes to get us and we go and do something fun together as a family with Adam before he goes to work. Then we usually get lunch together and then drop Adam off at Adobe around 1 or 2 for work. Sometimes the kids and I go back to the apartment and hang out there taking naps or going swimming or other things and then other times we go and explore a new part of India!
Lunch at a Thai place in Koramangala
Branson really liked the napkins as you can see from the pictures.
Litchee Smoothie!
Probably the best chicken spring rolls we’ve ever had! And check out that carrot turned into a beautiful delicate flower! Oh how I love India! đ
Remember the Indian Jones movie where Indiana goes to India and is staying at a palace for the Maharajah and for dinner they have monkey brains and baby snakes and eyeball soup? Well I think Dawson has had that on his mind and has wondered if we’d be eating similar things in India so it wasn’t too big of a surprise when after dishing him up some rice and curry he asked, “can I please have some more eye ball soup?” Sure love that kid! Never a dull moment with him around!
Adalynn also brought about a few laughs when she attempted to put back on her own hair bow! Nicely done baby girl. Nicely done! đ You are rockin’ the 80’s do!
After dropping Adam off at work the kids and I ran home to unpack groceries and then we headed out for a kids park that Naveen recommended to us. Dawson is King of the world!
As usual Adalynn was a hit at the park! Instantly adored by every passerbyer!
A shot of the moon on a beautiful sunshiny day with beautiful blue skies!
Cute Indian kids playing in the sand next to us.
While heading out from the park we heard music playing and came to discover that a wedding procession was coming down the street. The band was at the head of the procession and then the bridegroom and his family came after them. The groom was totally decked out in ornate and beautiful clothes and was riding on a horse with the men of his family in front of him and the women in his family behind him. It was QUITE the event!
The groom on a white horse decked out to the nines!
All the women following the groom also dressed up very beautifully and all got a kick out of Adalynn. Even the groom asked us to bring her to him so he could give her an Indian kiss “pinch of her cheeks!”
We sure are having a good time here and loving all these culturally fun things we are getting to see!
