The next stop on our island tour was to a place called Lagoa Das Patas. It was one of the places the lady at the car rental shop had suggested we visit. It ended up being a really nice picnic area around a small lake right in the middle of the forest. We had fun taking a short walk around the lake while we admired the moss, red dirt, tall trees, and streams. It was a lovely place to go to get out and stretch our legs.
