Botanical Garden at Hallim Park

The next stop of our day was to Hallim park – which is a HUGE botanical garden like place with a whole slew of other things to see from bonsai trees, to water lily’s, birds, reptiles, a folk village and desert cacti! We had heard wonderful things about the park but had no idea how big it was. It definitely took up a good chunk of our day to walk though, but was oh so beautiful.  We loved seeing so many beautiful things!
Loved these trees as you first walked in!

And lucky for us they had strollers you could rent for the day for just a few dollars.  This ended up being a LIFESAVER with Adalynn who was still worn out fro two other days of walking around!

That is one thing about hiring your own personal driver!  He acted as our family photographer as well and always insisted we take a family photo in front of each place we visited!  đŸ™‚

The first part of the park we explored the subtropical botanic gardens area that had different birds, reptiles, and vegetation from different parts of the world.

Have you ever seen how kewi’s are grown?  I had no idea they hung from vines like this and it was so interesting to see them almost ripe for the picking.
