The last stop of our day was to see Hallasan National Park. This had actually been the place I was most excited about, but because it was at the end of the day, I was EXHAUSTED and the kids were exhausted, and it was super cold and windy so only Adam and Harry had the energy to actually go and hike around for a bit. The driver said it was only a 40 minute hike round trip, but it ended up actually taking Adam and Harry about 1.5 hours to hike up and back. Luckily there was a playground area down near the parking lot and there were hardly any cars or tourists, so the kids had full reign of the place to play – but I preferred staying in the car where it wasn’t so cold. I just didn’t expect to need a jacket in Jeju when the temperatures had been so nice. But when you are up in the mountains – thats always a different story.
Adam and Harry got some beautiful pictures as they hiked though and I enjoyed seeing Hallasan park through their eyes.
We did manage to get one family photo at the entrance to the park due to our awesome driver!
If I remember correctly, this was the the little peak Adam and Harry hiked up to.
Korea sure is a beautiful place!
