Silly Ady, Church in Jeju, and All you Can Eat Korean BBQ

Our next day on Jeju Island landed on a Sunday and so we found an LDS branch about 20-30 minutes away to attend.  We had to laugh when that morning as we were getting ready, Ady came out with this new decorative hat!  Aka: her panties on her head!  She sure is a crack up!

One of the thing we have all loved most is meeting the Korean members.  These wonderful folks were just some of the most friendly, kind, and loving people we had ever met.  And because Adam didn’t serve at all on any of the islands of Korea, he didn’t know a single one of them.  Still they treated us like family and were so welcoming and loving during our short stay in their branch.

Because Adam was having so much fun talking Korean with folks in the branch the kids and I ended up waiting a few minutes for him outside the church. What better thing to do than take pictures of cute kids all dressed up with no where to go!

After church we went to a nearby park to play and then Adam found us a Korean BBQ place to have lunch out.  During all our travels in Korea we still had yet to find a Korean BBQ so Adam was ecstatic to finally find this one.  Apparently they aren’t as popular as they used to be when he first served in Korea 18+ years ago.  But even finding this place was challenging and we ended up going to three places that SAID they were Korean BBQ but weren’t.  It certainly was fun to try out all the different foods though and cook them ourselves on our very own stove!

They also had all you can eat popcycles and I remember the kids and I all eat like 5 of them each!  They just tasted so good and kept us cool on that hot hot day!
