Day 6 in French Polynesia took us to Bora Bora, which I was the most excited about!!! I was bound and determined to have a great time even if we got more rain, and that ended up being a good goal because it poured all day! đ But we still had a fabulous time!
We rented a little Jeep buggy thing which we took all over the island and felt lucky to get that because it was the last vehicle left on the lot and the 2nd car rental location we tried.
We asked the lady at the car rental what to see and do while driving around and she
directed us to a place to see old cannons and beautiful panorama, and a great snorkel spot with manta rays (bigger than Adam and so close you could almost touch them). She also told us about a place to rent a boat the next day, which we did. But we loved our time exploring the island.
Later that night after returning to our cruise ship, our outdoor activities guy Uus (pronounced oo oos) took us around a nearby smaller island since it was too choppy to wakeboard which was such a special treat. I loved being able to see Bora Bora both by boat and by car in the same day! Despite the drizzly day we really had a great time! â¤ī¸
We then finished off our night with dinner with friends, and a fun talent show by our cruise staff.
