Day 5 back East was a rest day which we were all so grateful for! We had exhausted ourselves with our go go schedule the previous days and loved not having a single thing on our calendar for a day. I could see why God after 6 days, instituted a day of rest. 🥰 Sometimes you just need one! The earliest we had gotten to any of our hotels all week was 9:30 pm and the latest was 2:00 am! 🤪😳😴
We also had a beautiful place to rest thanks to Adams awesome Adobe co-worker and friend Tyler who had a second home in Lewes Delaware close to the beach that he generously offered to our family. It was a little slice of heaven! We felt so grateful to be there.
We mainly spent the day at the house, where we all slept in, the kids and Adam played video games, and then later we meandered down to the beach for a bit. It was supposed to rain, but we actually got a little sunshine instead.
We ended the night with a late dinner of Thai food and by watching night at the museum battle of the Smithsonian since we’d been there the day before. Another great day making memories! ❤️
