Nauvoo and Branson Missouri

The next day of our trip had us visiting a few last sights in Nauvoo including The Nauvoo mansion, store, and Smith family cemetery where Joseph, Hyrum, Emma, and a whole bunch of others are buried. We then drove 5.5 hours to Branson Missouri, which has been on our bucket list for 17 years since Branson was born.

Our son Branson isn’t named after the city, but it was still fun to go and check it out. Unbeknownst to us it is like a mini Las Vegas as far as shows go. They have over 33 shows that play almost daily, so Adam booked us tickets at one for the next night.

We got to our rented condo at around 4:30 and the first thing the kids wanted to do was go swimming! So to the pool we went. Then we headed home for dinner, and finished the evening off by watching shark tank and a few episodes of Relative Race (anyone else cry every single episode?) A nice down day! ❤️
