If I had to choose one place that really stood out from all the rest it would have to be the amazing cabin Adam found for us in Binghamton, New York. Boy, did the host go above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible.
When we arrived it was night time, but the house was lit up like Christmas both on the inside and out, with lights strewn all over. It was about as cozy as you could get. Each room had strings of lights glowing, music playing, and there were even aroma therapy dispensers creating the most calming peaceful feeling as you moved throughout the cabin.
Another special touch was the breakfast that the owner left for us. She had juices, eggs, pastries, yogurt, raisin bread, and then fully stocked cabinets with all the foods you would need to stay for a long time.
The cabin was nestled into a beautiful forest, with a fire pit and chairs, and backyard hot tub. The host Kelly had flip flops and towels right by the door to use, and had fire color sticks for the kids which would turn the outside fire different colors.
Everything in the cabin was labeled for ease of use, and perfectly clean. It had a fun hammock chair the kids loved reading in, and fun games, and our daughter later commented it was her dream house! We unfortunately didn’t get to stay long (only one night while passing through) but would love coming back for a longer stay. An absolutely phenomenal place!
