Our second day in Las Vegas (March 21st) Jamis once again got up pretty early so I got to see another amazing Vegas sunrise. Man are they pretty! Especially from 15 floors up! Adam had to be at work all day at his Summit Conference so Mumsie and I decided to take the kids down on the strip to see some of the sites. We started at the Venician where we went and said hi to Adam, and then saw a little of Hurrah’s Hotel and Casino, and then The Flamingo and Caesars Palace. Below are the pictures of our time at the Venician.
The awesome morning sunrise I basked in.
The Wyndman had a free shuttle bus and dropped us off at Hurrah’s. We didn’t see much more than the casino as we walked through to the street.
We mostly spent all our time at the Venetian where we met up with Adam and took the kids to see the Gondola boats.
Adam luckily was in between sessions and able to come out and say hi to us for a minute.
While going through the mall we were able to see a pearl extracted from a clam shell. It was quite an interesting process. The kids really enjoyed learning about it.
This little face melts me!
We then headed back out to the street to try to find the Wild Life Habitat at the Flamingo Hotel.
We got to see quite a few other hotels while we walked.
There were several street performers out on the streets that day. We got to see two elvis’s and these power rangers. We later saw some transformers as well.
Next up. Our Time at the Wild Life Preserve.
