Bryce Canyon – Sunrise Point

We were able to arrive in Bryce right around lunch time which worked out perfectly because we were getting low on food so stopping to eat was a must! We were sure grateful when we found the below general store to eat at. We originally thought we’d just go and buy a few groceries to make our own lunch, but when we started looking at prices we realized it was going to cost us an arm and leg to feed our family. So we decided to check out the nearby restaurant instead whose prices were actually fairly decent. We ended up getting three sandwiches with fries and splitting them all between us. Adam got a Rueben, I got a Turkey avocado, and then we also got a Chicken sandwich as well. Surprisingly all of us were stuffed by the end and we even had half a sandwich left over. Who knew?

We eat our sandwiches and snacks out in the parking lot by our car until our friends caught up to us, and then we ended up finishing them in the Bryce Canyon visitors center parking lot.

Oh how this little one melts me!

Funny enough we ended up waiting at the visitors center for about 20 minutes before finally realizing that Gerald and Nichole (who we were waiting for) were actually at Sunrise point already! And had in fact gone on the hike and were done and ready to head home! Ha! They were super nice and waited for us to drive the 5 minutes to where they were so we could at least send them off with a proper farewell but then quickly took off for home since Nicholes legs weren’t doing too good and kids were starting to melt down. The rest of us had fun exploring the area though! Check out those gorgeous views at Sunrise point!

Such an amazingly awesome place! I was completely in LOVE with Bryce Canyon!
