Since getting our new (to us) trailer, we’ve been trying to get out camping as often as we can. Our favorite thing is to just do quick one night get aways close to home when we have a free night.
Adam suggested that since Payson Canyon just opened for the summer that we try up there. We ended up heading up the first Thursday after school ended, and somehow convinced Adams Mom, my parents, and our good friends Kimber Johnson Christensen and Eric Christensen, to join us for the evening, even super last minute.
My parents picked up KFC for all of us for dinner, (super nostalgic!) and then we did a short hike with them to double falls, and played some corn hole while making s’mores in the fire. But it was such a lovely one night get away up the canyon where I came away feeling filled by friends, family, God, and nature! ❤️
