One of the days we were down in St. George Adam really wanted to go out to a place his Dad had told him about where you could find really cool crystal rocks. So one afternoon/evening we headed out with my parents to see if we could find it. We ended up driving South East of St. George and even went past the old airport and on several dirt roads looking for it, but had to turn around several times when the directions we had just weren’t getting us to where we needed to be. Out of sheer luck though we eventually DID find the right road, and then by sheer luck again I actually managed to SEE the small hill where the crystals were. It was starting to get dark and the hill was supposed to sparkle, but because the sun was already down, the hill just looked like it was white and covered in snow instead. But as you can see there wasn’t a lot of snow around, so I turned around just to “check it out” and luckily we had found it! Tender Mercy indeed! And boy were the crystals everywhere! It was so fun to walk around and pick them up and try to find the best ones to take home.
The best part about our trip though was getting to see this amazing sunset! It has to be one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen in my LIFE. And that is saying a lot. The colors were just amazing! And see the “white” that looks like snow? Those were all the Crystals!

Since I didn’t think to take pictures of the actual crystals while we were at the pit, I found the following two pictures out on the internet. Neat looking stuff though huh?
Then we got to see the moon come up in the other direction! Nature is just so cool!
