Thor’s Hammer & Wall Street – Bryce Canyon

We finished off our day at Bryce by hiking Sunset point where we were able to see a Hoodoo named Thor’s hammer (which is fairly famous in the park) and then finished with Wall street. Wall street was super steep and consisted of what felt like a million switch backs, but was so beautiful and well worth the effort. I ended up taking the 3 older boys on the advanced party hike, while Adam took the littles and went at a slower pace. Ady was pretty much DONE during this entire hike and required lots of counting games, I spy games, and other distractions to keep her mind off how much she didn’t want to be hiking! ha ha! In the end – she even got a piggy back ride from Ad in the end as a bribe if she made it to the top without complaining! ha ha. Lucky girl to have such a good Daddy!

Check out those switch backs. I think I understand now why they call it wall street! You were literally walking from wall to wall to get to the top!

Thor’s Hammer!

It was a great hike to end our day at Bryce National Park! We felt like we were able to see and do almost everything (minus a few of the really long hikes) which was so nice! Bryce has quickly become one of my favorite National parks. It is just so diverse, unique, and spectacular! I loved it!
