The highlight during our drive through Mount Rainier National park was taking a road called “Paradise Loop” that actually took us pretty high up the mountain and close to Mount Rainier. I wish the pictures I took gave this place justice, because Mount Rainier was just massive! Probably one of the biggest mountains I’ve ever seen. It was so high up it was almost always under constant cloud cover. We were so thrilled to get these few shots of it when the clouds parted just a little for us to get a better idea of the magnitude of this amazing volcano! So so cool!
I loved all the little waterfalls that were coming down from the melting snow.
We also got to see some pretty beautiful lakes and mountain ranges while we drove as well.
I think this next show was my very favorite from the day. I love how you can see the huge ice cracks and details of the mountain.
What an amazing world our Heavenly Father has created for us! We love getting to go on trips like this one to see some of these incredible place!
