While up at lost lake the clouds parted for a moment and we had a few glorious moments of warm sunshine. I couldn’t help but re-take some of my pictures I had just taken because having some sunlight makes for a very different picture! I love these shots with the sun out as we fished at lost, and then hiked back to the meadow! What a beautiful day! Adam had originally thought it best to stay at camp and wait out the snow storm, but was sure glad I had convinced him to go to Lost anyway. We were all just loving every minute of being up there!
What an awesome day spent at Explorer Ponds and Lost Lake! The rest of the night we hung out at camp where we had mountain house beef stroganoff and spaghetti for dinner and then headed to bed early. In fact Dawson was BEGGING to go to bed at around 7:30! Ha ha! Adam and I think made it to 9:30 but then crashed ourselves. You are just 100x more tired at the Winds when you spend your everyday hiking!
