As we came around the corner of the river to see the Upper Green River lake, I just couldn’t believe my eyes! It seriously was so gorgeous! The way the light was hitting the mountains, the stillness of the water, the speckle of fall colors amidst the pines. I was just in Wind River heaven! I told Adam that I want to take a trip here just him and I sometime and set up a tent right at the end of this lake and then hike around the entire thing, and go and see slide lake, and explore this area more. I just absolutely love this lake and the beautiful scenes it brings. It was like we’d stepped into the celestial kingdom! We loved fishing and having some snacks here before heading out.
