For Family Night this week we decided to get into the spirit of Halloween and start some of our festivities. We started out by making Adam’s 2nd favorite dinner of all time…the Harrison family favorite “meal in a pumpkin,” and then spent the rest of the night carving pumpkins, and toasting seeds. The boys loved it, and especially loved telling Adam what shapes they wanted for the eyes, and nose, and having their requests granted. They also thought putting the candle in the pumpkin and turning out the lights was pretty cool too. Oh how I love seeing the joy in my childrens eyes from these simple pleasures! Sure was a fun night!
