Dearest Baby Girl,
You are now 10 months old now and getting so big! Where has my newborn baby gone? You are now up on your knees like crazy rocking back and forth and pushing yourself forward and doing one heck of a one armed army crawl. You get everywhere all over a room now and can usually get whatever you have your sights set on.
You absolutely LOVE your jumper (the one that hangs from the door) right now and you go absolutely crazy when I put you in it. You jump as high as your little legs take you and if I turn on the radio you can usually find the beat and jump along with it. It is ADORABLE.
You are eating more now and a few weeks ago you actually eat baby food…from a can…with me feeding you with a spoon! That is a HUGE accomplishment as usually you will only eat food if you can grab it and put it in your mouth. You are now also slowly starting to take formula if we mix half of it with Mommy’s milk. Mom leaves for girls camp next week so we need to quickly switch you over!
Today Dad and I discovered that you are getting 2 more teeth on your top row. Your big front right tooth and then the one to the right of that. Yet you haven’t been cranky much at all. You are such an easy going good baby.
You still sleep through the night amazingly well and nap pretty good too. You are wanting to be awake a little more now but usually are perfectly content sitting on the floor playing with toys or rolling/scooting around the room exploring stuff.
You LOVE to be outside. If I need to go pull weeds or work in the yard I can just put you on a blanket outside with some toys and you are perfectly happy. You especially are entertained if your brothers are out there with you. You love being in the sun and just watching the world go by.
You are eating lots more now (more than just kix and cheerios) and seem to love avocado, black beans, peas, watermelon, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, banana, pears, bread, noodles, and just about anything you can get your hands on.
You are signing now too and will sign and say ba ba ba when you want something. You know it means that you get a bottle, but you also sign it for whenever you are tired, or want us to pick you up or anything else. You are also saying da da da a LOT and occasionally if the stars align just right you will also say ma ma. It melts our hearts when you talk and we love your cooing and talking.
You light up our lives so much Adalynn and we all just adore you. We are so glad you are apart of our family!
