Adam turned 35 in January and for his birthday he really wanted to get a new road bike – or I guess I should say his FIRST road bike. He had borrowed his brother Deans old bike the summer before to try and figure out if biking was something he could get into – and after months of riding 25+ miles several times a week he was hooked! So I looked into and researched best road bikes to get and the Trek 1.1 was rated #1 on consumer reports for beginner bikes. Adam ended up having a buddy up in Idaho that had a hook up though so Adam ended up getting the Trek 1.2 (which is an intermediate road bike) for the same price. Sa-weet! Adam is in LOVE and one happy boy!
