Artwork, River Picnic, U-pick Raspberries, and the Title of Liberty

On Monday morning we woke up and had a leisurely morning at Cam and Erins where the kids played xbox games and Adam and I worked on some family history.  Adam had to laugh when he went and got his laptop and discovered that one of the toddlers had decorated his Mac with some new artwork.  Luckily it was in pencil and wiped off super easily.

That afternoon we headed out to a nearby river to eat some yummy quessadillas and fruit while we skipped rocks, played in the water, and watched for butterflies.

Then we were off for our next adventure of picking raspberries at a nearby farm.  This was our first time experiencing a “u pick” and it was seriously so much fun.  The kids loved finding yummy ripe raspberries and filling up their individual boxes.  $18 later we came out with quite a haul of raspberry deliciousness and we loved eating them all the way home.  So fun!

That evening after a tasty dinner of vegetarian enchiladas we settled down with a wonderful family night lesson on Captain Moroni and the title of liberty.  Erin put together a super fun activity where we all drew our own title of liberty and then we taped it up in the hallway for all to see.  It was awesome to see what everyone came up with.

Then our fellas made us our tasty FHE treat – that of raspberry shakes! YUM!

Another great day in Washington with Cam and Erin.  We sure love them!
