Balboa Kids Park with the Kirby’s

Saturday we were all exhausted from missing naps the day before at the zoo so we decided to have a down day and take things easy! We went to a worldmark presentation in the morning (They bribed us with a $75 giftcard) and then I tried to help my Papa who was coming down from Los Angelas for the weekend to find our condo. Once he arrived we spent the day taking long naps, hanging out by the cool, and eating lots of yummy food!

Then that evening we were able to get together with some of our wonderful friends from our old married student ward days- The Kirby’s! It was so fun to see them and to see how their family had all grown! We met at a childrens park right next to Balboa park where we brought in dinner (Thai food) and let the kids play! It was great spending few hours catching up!

This little guy LOVED going down the slides – and again had no fear going down alone!

That night the boys got to sleep out in the front room on the couch pull out bed (so that Papa could have his own room) and they thought that was SO MUCH FUN! They each made their own bed (notice Branson used the couch cushions on top of the matress) and loved having a little slumber party together!

After putting the boys and Papa to bed Adam and I stayed up and watched “Sherlock Holms” together. I am loving these long days spending time with my fella’s!
