This past Saturday we were able to go up to our Singles Ward Bishop’s beautiful cabin in the Fairview area for a little retreat with the Bishopric. Bishop Broadhead and his wife Gayle have been building this cabin since 2002 and have pretty much done everything themselves. Its an amazing cabin with a slide going off the porch, a sandbox, and a tree swing area with lots of play toys for the kids. It was beautiful and very fun. Bishop cooked us up some amazing BBQ Chicken Breasts and Hambergers and Dogs and then we had lots of sides and salads to go with it. We had fun telling each other our courting and engagement stories, and then later took some rides on the 4-wheeler. My favorite story though was learning that the bishop had kissed over 20 girls at his going away party the night before he got set apart as a missionary! Who would have thunk! We laughed pretty hard at that one. We finished the night with some magic bars that Adam and I brought up, and pretty much demolished the whole pan between the 6 of us! Thanks so much for a great evening Bishop! We loved it! đ
