Daytona Greek Festival

One of the activities Adam and I enjoyed doing while in Daytona was visiting a Greek Festival that was going on.  They allowed us to take a free tour of their church, and then they had music, dancing, Greek food, and souvenirs available as well.  Below are some pics from our tour.

After touring the church there were tents set up outside next to the water and this was where most of the food and entertainment was.  They had a really great live band playing Green music that we stood and listened to for awhile, and then they had a childrens dance group come and perform some darling little Greek dances.

One of the interesting things about some of these dances was that people would go and throw money on the kids while they danced. If you look closely at the floor around where the kids are dancing you will see dollar bills all over.  By the end of their performance they had made quite the haul of money!

These next few pictures are some I took from the balcony of our condo.  This was the panorama view.

We loved watching the sunset from our balcony.
