Dinner Date Night with the Kids – Mexican Style

A few months ago Adam and I discovered a Mexican Restaurant in Spanish Fork that we have just come to love.  Not only because the food is pretty darn good but also because its super CHEAP and we can feed the whole family for less than $20 bucks.  The kids really like it too so that also is an added bonus as well.  We sort of think it might become a family tradition for us to frequent on a regular basis we like it that much.  And it reminds me of the hole in the wall Chinese place (China Light Cafe) that my parents used to take us all to when we were little where we always got the dinner for 4 with 6 plates and it too fed all of us for $20).  Nice.  Brings back good memories.  Our favorite dish so far is their Shrimp burrito for $7.50.  It seriously feeds ALL three boys with a few bites thrown in for Mom and Dad and then we usually get one more dish to share as well…and we still go home with leftovers.  Crazy huge portions for super cheap prices.  We love it!
After dinner we walked a few blocks over to the Spanish Fork park where we teased Dawson that all the aerated chunks of dirt on the grass were actually dog poo and then Adam and I proceeded to throw it at the kids and each other (SERIOUSLY SO FUNNY!)  Adam and I were laughing so hard at all the kids reactions.  And loved how all of them tiptoed the entire way through the grassy area of the park.  Then we played a wicked game of Tag with the kids and played around on the swings and playground.    We seriously had such a great time.  Below are some pictures of our last dinner date night (sorry for the blurriness but I like the pics anyway.)
