I cannot BELIEVE my baby is starting Kindergarten today and that he will be going to school 5 days a week now! It just doesn’t seem possible that my little baby boy could really be that old. Wowsa’s! How time has flown. I’m so proud of him though and so excited for him to have this new adventure. Branson has always loved school and learning and I know will have a great year. Congrats little man! We sure love you!
We ended up not finding out about what time the bus was coming to get Brans until 30 minutes before he was supposed to be picked up (after calling the transportation office 5-6 times all morning). So we had an impromptu QUICK lunch of toast, peaches, and chocky milk! đ

Then we headed outside to take some First Day of School pictures!
Two thumbs up for starting school! đ Yay!
What a Tough Guy!

Branson for weeks has been the most excited about taking the bus to school. Should I tell him he doesn’t need to hitch hike to catch the bus? Nah! đ

Oh and on a side note: Branson ended up waiting by our window for the bus to come. I told him to stay by the window and holler at me when he saw it so that I could walk out with him and take a picture. Instead he went upstairs and started watching cartoons which led to Branson MISSING his bus, him running to our friends house below us to try to catch it there, him missing it again, and then me having to wake the baby up, throw all three kids in the car, and racing across town to get Branson to school on time. Little Stinker! But tomorrow is a new day and I’m sure we’ve Brans has learned his lesson. Nothing better than natural consequences to help a child learn. đ
