The 2nd night of our cruise Carnival had their formal night and so Adam and Adalynn and I all got dressed up for a night of fun. The boys once again chose to spend their time at camp carnival preferring to eat at 6 instead of our 8:15 time that evening.
When we arrived in the dining room we were all thrilled to discover that shrimp and lobster were on the menu for the night AND primerib. I’m not going to name any names but someone on our table ended up ordering THREE main dishes. In fact, there were a couple someones that did this if I remember right. Needless to say nobody went hungry!

Smurf was so cute and went on and on all night about how fabulous Mumsie looked. He called her “stunning” and told her that “she took his breath away.” She really did look beautiful in her glittery sparkly top though. So cute!
I attempted to do my first every updo (besides a crummy bun) and ended up with this look. I’m not even sure what to call it but it was fun to do something different. I ended up pinning my bangs back and putting them into a messy bun and then did a side rope braid around the bottom of my hair and then when I ran out of hair I braided it and twisted it around my head. It required lots of bobby pins, but I’m happy to say they all stayed in. Someday I hope to be able to do really cool things with my hair.
