I was pretty bad at taking pictures of all of our Halloween festivities – but I did manage to get a few. Below is a picture of me and my awesome gal pal Adrianne (or whom I lovingly refer to as punkin buns pansy face) at our ward Halloween party. We were pretty much the only two ADULT women who actually wore a costume. Your a babe Adrianne. TOTAL babe!
On Sunday night (before Halloween) everyone on the Harrison side got together for a family Halloween party. The kids all wore their costumes and then Nana, Stacey, and Jess all brought fun things for the kids to do. Here the kids are sporting their freshly decorated Halloween sugar cookies. I think they thought whomever got the most candy on their cookie won! đ
Dawson was very pleased with his creation but even more happy about EATING it! đ
On the REAL Halloween we actually just took things easy because we felt like we had been running from one activity to the next so that night we just stayed in and had dinner in a pumpkin and carved up some scary pumpkins to put out for trick or treaters. Branson went trick or treating with our friends the Lau’s and then Harry and Dawson passed out candy. They LOVED it – but Harry was so funny and would ask everyone who came to do a trick before he gave them candy. It totally cracked Adam and I up!
Then on Tuesday, Harrison had his preschool Halloween party and his teacher asked if I could help out that day. The kids were all dressing up so I figured I would as well and I threw on one of our adult kids costumes that just slips on. Simple and Easy. As I was walking into the school though one of the 5th or 6th grade kids saw me and said to Harry, “I would be SOOOO embarrassed if my Mom wore that to school.” To which I responded with a loud “MOOOOOOO.” ha ha. Below are some pictures of Harry’s preschool and some of the kids in his class in their costumes.
It was a fun Halloween weekend!
