Happy Fathers Day!

I have been so blessed in my life to be surrounded by some AMAZING Dads! I just wanted to give a little shout out to each one on this very special day!

Pappy Pants (My Dad):
My Dad is an incredible man and I feel so blessed to have him in my life. As I child I remember his constant teasing. From his face smashed on the windows to scare us, to cracking jokes like “your ugly and your mother dresses you funny,” to playing hide and go seek and he and my Mom taking off leaving us searching for them for what seemed like FOREVER! Fun has always been a part of my childhood. Dad was also so good at taking us on trips. I remember countless summers filled with Lake Powell, Strawberry Reservoir, Deer Creek, Ubba Lake, Canada, Mexico, California, the Wedge, and so many others. We had the theme in our house “Work hard, play hard,” and that is certainly a theme we stayed true too. Saturday’s were reserved for working hard out in the yard and in the house but then every Saturday evening we would settle down to pizza from little Ceasars, and a movie as a family! My childhood is filled with so many wonderful memories, and I’m so grateful to my Dad for all he has taught me and for all the beautiful memories I hold in my heart! I love you Pappy!

Smurf (my Father-in-law):
The first time I met my Father-in-law funny enough was when Adam and I went on our Honeymoon! Smurf and Mumsie were on their mission over there and they generously offered to pay for us to go over to visit them for our wedding present! It was AWESOME and we had SO much fun with them, and although Adam always thought he’d marry someone like his Mom…in actual reality we found that he had married someone just like his Dad! 🙂 Smurf and I instantly connected and since then I have just enjoyed having him in my life more and more. He is filled with so much wisdom, laughter, and love both for his family, even those like me that have been married in. He has the uncanny ability to make each of us feel like his very favorite! He is so generous with his time, talents, and all that he has, and I love learning from both his life, and his example!

My Sweet Adam:
My goodness do I love this man! and that love has just grown as I’ve seen the amazing Dad that Adam has become. Every night when Adam gets home from work he greets his boys in a loud crazy voice of excitement while he goes around hugging, and wrestling each one. And then if that weren’t enough he spends just about every evening playing with the boys until bedtime. They love him so much and Adam truly is the hero in their life. Adam loves to take the boys on hikes each Saturday if he can, or at least plan something else fun to do with them. He keeps our family balanced with play and work and is such a great example to Brans, Harry, and Sazza. I am so grateful to be married to such an amazing man who loves his family so well and always puts them first in his life!

My Father in Heaven:
I always get tears in my eyes when I think about my Heavenly Father and all he has done for me. It seems so trivial to try to post my feelings for him in words. Its just so hard to express how many times he’s healed my heart, comforted my soul, directed my life for good, and helped me to overcome the trials I face. He has strengthened me when I’ve been weak, healed me when I’ve been sick, and blessed my life in more ways than I can count. I’ve felt his protection, tender mercies and love so often in my life and I am 100% convinced that he is REAL, that he LOVES me individually, and is a CONSTANT part of my life. I love him so much and my greatest desire is to become like him and his Son Jesus Christ and to someday return to live with him, Christ, and my Family. What an incredible blessing!

In true Fathers Day fashion we started the day off FEASTING! I asked Adam what we could make him on his special day and he chose to have cinnamon french toast, little smokies, and chockey milk! We then went to church in our ward here in Payson and then headed down to Pleasant Valley Campground to spend the evening with my parents! We had so much fun!

After 3 hours at church (during the boys nap times) they CRASHED in the car! We thought it was funny how Branson fell asleep on Dawsons lap! So cute!

We left straight after church so the boys were still dressed in their best when we got to the campground! We had to take a few cute pictures of them!

I love these pics with Ad and his boys!

What a great blessing these fella’s are in my life!

Snacking on some Watermelon waiting for dinner to finish cooking!

My Dad doing what Daddy’s do best! Grilling up some tasty meat! (Ribs..umm)

Adam was even thoughtful enough to help out on his special day! He really is the best!

Dinner Time!

Later we took a walk to the CamperWorld playground and swung on the swings a bit!

Dawson absolutely LOVES the swings!

Then we went and checked out the club house!

The boys found some awesome Tonka trucks to play with!

And some fun games!

Aren’t they just adorable? Love them!

Then we decided to take a hike up the mountain a bit!
Dawson’s “hand holds” were cracking us up!

Family Pic.

Somehow Harry managed to talk Papa into taking him for a ride too! 🙂
Thanks Papa!

This is probably my favorite picture of the evening!
The Dad’s in my life with the boys in my life!

It was such a great night spent with some of the special people in my life!
Wishing you all a Happy Fathers Day!
