This morning as I came out of a deep slumber around 7:30 am I heard giggles and talking coming from the kitchen. As I sleepily walked toward the ruckus I discovered that all THREE of my boys were up and that all THREE had peeled hard boiled eggs in preparation for me to make egg salad sandwiches for their lunches that day. The excitement of going to school was obvious! And Harrison couldn’t WAIT for his day to start!
So after making lunches, eating breakfast, brushing teeth, combing hair, putting on new school clothes and SHOES (what Harrison has been the most excited about) and slipping on that new backpack the kids were off! But not without a few pictures out on the front porch, and not without a big hug, and lots of I love you’s!
When I asked Harrison what he was most excited about it didn’t surprise me too much when he said “Riding the bus and Recess.” Every little kids favorite right? But I was a little shocked when Harry got home that day and when I asked him how school was his response was “It was SWEATY.” Say what? I guess he had gotten hot during recess and hot riding home on the bus. Funny boy. Anyway here are some first day of school pics of our cute little Harry Bob. Sure love this little fella!

And they are already talking about eating lunch together next year. I love how they love each other so much.
