This last week was our annual Harrison Family reunion down at Lake Powell. Our family bought into a houseboat timeshare 3 years ago, and although the trip is a ton of work, we always have a ROCKIN Good time! Here’s just a few of the fun things we did this year.
Had Tube Wars Behind The Boat
Lounged around on Floatie Toys in 104 degree weather only to be surprised by our local Scuba Divers who liked to surprise us and push us into the water. đ This is picture is just before one of these said attacks. Lucky for me, I played the pregnant card and got left alone!
Found pirate swords all over the place
Took lots of naps
Played on the Tubs a LOT
Bransons First Ride of the Year (Last year he totally freaked out)
This year….he didn’t find it quite as exciting and actually fell ASLEEP half way through the ride!
More Naps
Spent time with busy spouses
Bonded with cousins
Blew Bubbles with Papa
Learned how to breath underwater
Caught Lizards (Jasmine caught this little guy all by herself!)
Caught more lizards…some of which only half were caught! (don’t look too close)
Went hiking on the rocks
Rolled Rocks Down Cliffs into the Water
Had Gushy Mush Moments
Became Pirates
Found a Treasure Chest
Played on Nana’s Floatie Tubes
Flexed Muscles
Found the Perfect Houseboat Spot
Spent time together as a family
Went on a Treasure Hunt
Got Pirate Patches
And Tatoos
Took more Naps (pretty much every single time he got on the speed boat!)
Took Harrison on a leisurely 2 Minute Tube Ride (He cried the whole time)
I drove the boat and made the boys crash on the Tubes about every 30 seconds.

Sang Yo Yo Pirate Songs into Cups for pirate initiation
Got Squirted by Papa and his new Water Chair
Went Scuba Diving and Spear Fishing
Fished off the back of the Boat
And last but not least….We Took it EASY!
All in all it was an absolutely wonderful vacation and I’m happy to say we didn’t have any major catastrophes or set backs. (This may have been the first time in Harrison Family Reunion History that some big disaster didn’t happen) Besides the water going up a foot a day, the 104 degree weather, and getting my first speeding ticket EVER on the way home (I had a good 14 year run), everything went pretty smoothly and we just enjoyed being together! Thanks all for a delightful time. We love your guts!
