Back in October when Adalynn was around 2 months old Adam put together a little 2 night couples +baby getaway to our condo’s in Midway so that we could reconnect after all the hustle and bustle of getting used to a new baby. It was absolutely wonderful to just be able to go and enjoy some alone time, have long talks, go on hikes, relax in the hot tub, watch movies, and eat lots of yummy food. Thanks so much babe for the wonderful getaway. I sure do love you!

Later that day after some nice naps and a movie we headed up to Park city the back way through Deer Valley. The drive through the canyon was AMAZING!
That night we went into Heber for some shakes at Dairy Keen (super yum!) and then headed back to our condo where we grilled up some steaks, made some potatoes, and veggies, and spent the night watching THOR.
The next morning we got up went hot tubing, took showers, and then headed through A.F. Canyon through the Midway/Cascade springs route which is partly dirt road. Again the mountains were absolutely breathtaking and we had a great time walking around Cascade Springs and taking pictures as we drove through A.F. Canyon.

To end our getaway we ended up getting some Chinese takeout in Highland and then drove up to my parents in Alpine where they had kindly agreed to watch Adalynn for us for a few hours while we went and did initiatories at Timpanogas Temple. Sure was an awesome little getaway with my sweetie pie! Thank you Mum and Smurf and Mom and Dad for watching the kids for us. We sure do love you!
