Earlier in December when I saw a killer deal on bar stools at Kohls I finally decided what I wanted my big Christmas present to be. For some reason our old bar stools seemed to cause so much contention in the family (with the kids) because someone always wanted the black bar stool, or the tallest one, and fights would ensue almost daily over where people were sitting. I guess thats what happens when you have 5 different kinds of bar stools inherited or bought one at a time as children came into our family. So it was time. Time to upgrade and get all of the same kind of stool so that 1) my kitchen actually didn’t look an isle at D.I. and 2) so that nobody felt they were getting jipped if they didn’t get the best stool. And it made me feel really good that I scored all 6 of them for over 75% off! Yeah! So happiness was felt all around. I’m proud to report that not one fight has ensued since getting these babies and I even got the biggest happy screams and “Thank you Mommy’s!” when the kids saw them for the first time. Even Adalynn has her own chair now which she takes full advantage of by refusing to sit in her high chair now. Its nice to have everything same-o, same-o! Thanks Santa Daddy for my new stools! (And please forgive the messy kitchen – I should have waited to take the picture until after I cleaned up!)
