At our recent family get-together up at my parents house, Adam and I were going over our calendar and realized that we have at least 4 camping trips this spring and summer! Whoa. Unfortunately though now that our family has grown to six our little Honda Pilot will no longer fit all of us AND all of our GEAR. So we talked it over and decided it was probably time to get a new Tent Trailer.
So after looking at ads and setting up appointments to see a few we finally decided on this beauty! A 1999 Jayco Heritage with a King size bed, Full bed, and Queen bed that sleeps 6-7. It also had the awesome outdoor storage area for easy packing. We are so excited for this new addition to our family and for the many memories we hope to make in it.
The first night we brought her home the boys were so excited that they BEGGED us to take them camping up Payson Canyon that night. Adam was all up for it too – but I had a nutrition class I had signed up for that wouldn’t bring me home until late and so we compromised and the kids and Adam slept outside in our front yard in the tent trailer instead. They had a wonderful time playing games out there and then getting to have a boys sleepover with Daddy all night! Here are some pics of our new Trailer!
