Earlier this week Branson, Harrison, and their friends Blake and Sydney all went outside to take advantage of the freshly fallen snow. Since we live on a nice hill the activity of choice seemed to be sliding down the hill on their tummies. So trying to be a good little Mom I went downstairs and dug up all of our sleds to “enhance” the fun of the day. Unfortunately though I forgot that this year we had tiered our big sledding hill which meant that half the hill was gone and now built up in rocks (seen below).

And unfortunately that resulted in Branson sliding down all three tiers on his sled, him hitting his head on the rocks as he went down, and me being freaked out that he had a concussion. Luckily we had some divine intervention and Branson came out OK with just a ginormous red goosebump on his his forehead (seen below).
I think next year I’ll stick with being a “less cool” Mom that lets the kids ride on their tummies!
