Every so often Adam and I think its fun to take the kids on a date night with us. We all have been feeling mighty cooped up all winter and decided to get out of the house a bit and enjoy some good food. The place of choice? Papa Kelsey’s. Papa’s actually has a lot of history for me since It was my first REAL job when I was in Highschool. It was just 5 minutes from my house in Alpine and was such a fun place to work at. (When the boss wasn’t there!) The food was amazing, the people I worked with were amazing, and making a whooping $5.25 an hour felt amazing and I loved feeling a bit of independence. So when we discovered there was a Papa’s in Salem just 5 minutes from our house in Payson we knew moving to Payson was destiny! (Not really, but it sure was a great perk!)
So off to Papa’s we went where we ordered almost every single one of my favorite things on the menu. (Foot long Turkey bacon avocado sandwich on wheat, bowl of clam chowder, large seasoned fries, an italian salad with homemade ranch, a mini pizza for the kids, and one of Papa’s goey yummy mouthwatering cinnamon roll to top it all off). It was awesome! We didn’t even get through half of the food, but who doesn’t love leftovers anyway? đ Here are some pics from our evening together!
Sure love this family of mine!
