Payson Canyon

Last week I also had one of my favorite post mission roomies Shauntai visiting from Missouri so we made plans to get together with our kiddo’s and her Mom, Lee, and Monnie (Grandma) one night in the canyon. We originally planned to go and hike the Grotto – but the trail was a little much for a dear sweet 80 year old lady with a walker so we decided just to go down to one of the picnic places and let the kids play in the stream while we adults caught up. It was such a lovely evening and I always enjoy these little visits from my Shauntai!

These two LOVED playing in the water – but bless Harry’s heart, he again got in trouble for throwing rocks AT people instead of in the water. Branson was the recipient of said rock – but this time took it to the knee instead of the head. We were at least grateful for that. No hospital trips this time!

Love these little fella’s of mine!

And my hunk-a-muffin too!

Someone loves the mud!

Because of Harry’s rock incident he had to head downstream AWAY from people to throw rocks.

This guys was kind enough to watch the kids so I could catch up with Shauntai.

Sure was a fun evening! Thanks Retta, Lee, Monie, and Shauntai, & kiddos for coming down and hanging with us. We sure love you!
