On Friday evening Adam and I decided it would be fun to take the kids over to the Payson Onion Days carnival. We’ve gone to this pretty much every year since we moved in and love what a great family date night it is. It is always one of the kids favorites things we do each year. On Fridays the carnival also does 1 ticket rides (as opposed to usually charging 2-3 tickets per ride) so you get a lot more bang for your buck. $20 worth of tickets was just about perfect for our family of 6.
Little Adalynn was just in a daze people watching. It was so funny to see her react to everything.
Love these happy faces!
The favorite ride of the night. The boys always love getting to drive the trucks around.
We tried a new one this year that was a pirate ship. The kids had to go through a maze, walk over rickety bridges, climb up ropes, and then slide down a gigantic slide to get to the bottom. They ended up doing this one twice they liked it so much. Dawson freaked out on the rickety bridge seeing as his brothers ran off ahead of him and he wasn’t used to things moving beneath his feet. He got a little freaked out. Luckily a worker was kind enough to help him over the bridge.
Lets face it – The FOOD at carnivals is part of the fun too!
To go or not to go…that was the question. With our last ticket Adam decided to go on the Zero Gravity Machine! He LOVED it. I would have thrown up on it. 🙂
We ended the night by going up to the Payson City Pool and watching fireworks in the parking lot!
Sure was a fun family outing!
