On Monday this week (Labor Day) Adam told me that he had felt guilty that we’d stayed home taking it easy and said that he felt like we should get out more. I just laughed because we’d been to the parade that day, put up the slip and slide, gone to the carnival on Saturday, and taken the kids up the canyon and to see fireworks on Friday. Adam then continued by saying he too had thought of all those things and realized that we really do indeed get out quite a bit and therefore was able to talk himself out of feeling guilty. (Good pivotal moment honey!) But I still thought he was hilarious considering all that we had done over the 3 day weekend! So to tease Adam a bit (and make sure that we were meeting his “get out of the house needs,”) I suggested that we pick up a hot and ready pizza on our way home (we had gone to watch Bransons soccer game) and have a picnic and feed the ducks at Salem pond. So off we went with a “ha ha you are so funny” look from Adam as I teased him.
(Notice Adam is keeping his pizza as far away from Mr. Grabby’s hands as possible!)
