Salem Pond Lights

During the middle of December Adam had some back to back meetings in San Jose and Las Vegas which left the kids and I home without him for 9 days.  We sure missed him!  But to keep ourselves occupied we tried to go and do some fun things together and focus on feeling the Christmas spirit.  So one night we made some fudge and some “pay it forward” notes to go with the fudge and then dropped them off to neighbors with instructions to spread the Christmas cheer.  Then we also went and dropped off treats to some of our neighbors who are struggling and could use some cheer.  It was such a fun night and the kids and I loved it.
Afterwards since we were all loaded up in the car, we thought it would also be fun to go and see the Salem Pond Lights.  So we cranked up our Christmas music to sing along to and headed over.  We always love this little tradition we do every year and seeing what new lights the city puts up!  We ended our evening by driving around our neighborhood looking at all the lights and decorations our neighbors had.  Sure was a fun night!
