Here in our neighborhood we created a private facebook group where we could post things to each other easily – like free produce from our gardens, lost dogs roaming around, to girls nights outs, yard sales, good deals, or questions about kids or school. Its been really helpful and fun.
A few weeks ago one of our neighbors Jody posted a special she was having on doing school pictures at the park for $10 a child. Wow. Such a nice change from paying between $21 to $35 for the normal school pictures. AND she was including two poses, and the CD of all the shots so that we can print the ones we like in the sizes we want. Nice. I was all for it and emailed her to see if she would also do Harrison and Dawson who technically are not in Elementary school yet. She kindly obliged. So last week we got the kids all dressed up in their duds and headed for the park. I’m still waiting to get the pictures back that Jody took – but here are a few that we snapped afterwards when we took the kids over to play at the playground. Sure love these fellas of mine!
