On Thursday December 27th I surprised Adam by setting up a babysitter for the entire day so that I could take him skiing as an early birthday present. Adam’s company gives us a fitness benefit as well that we hadn’t used up and so we were able to go skiing on the company dime as well. Nice. So up to Sundance we went. It was an absolutely BEAUTIFUL day up there and the mountains were just gorgeous. As we left Payson it was snowing but the second we got up to the mountain it had stopped and blue skies had come out. It was so very pretty. I spent the whole day just oohing and aahing at all the beauty that surrounded us. It was one of my very favorite ski days yet on record. We got up on the hill about 10:00 am and then spent until about 3:30 skiing. We had lunch on the very tippy top of the mountain at a cafe up there where we split a nachos, and then afterwards we went and got an ice cream sundae and then hit up Habitat for Humanity where we got Adam a new picture for his office and me a new summer beach chair and umbrella. Score! It sure was a fun day and I loved getting to spend it all alone with my lover boy! Love him! Below are some of the pictures of the day.
