Tuesday my darling wonderful friend (and old roomie) Shauntai and I decided to get together for yet another fun adventure! And since Adam is out of town to Alaska all this week we thought a sleepover seemed appropriate! She was originally going to come over for dinner with her two kiddo’s, so I made some BBQ ribs, baked potatoes, a zuccini yellow squash dish, and homemade wheat bread – but Shauntai ended up not being able to come until later. When she arrived we quickly hurried to get all the kids to bed so that we could have us some GIRL TIME!
We ended up getting comfy on my bed and spent lots of time talking, watching Psych, eating yummy treats, and catching up on each others lives. So fun!
The next day we had a nice breakfast of breakfast burritos and then worked out, played some ping pong, and then packed up a picnic for an afternoon of adventure. We first went to the SF Splash Pad and park and let the kids play there for an hour or two and then we took off up the SF canyon for our picnic. What an absolutely beautiful day! Thanks so much Shauntai for coming and spending the night and day with us. Its always such a treat to have you and your kids over! đ Love you bunches Apple crunch dumplin buns! đ
